Archies Thongs and Slides: The Footwear Your Feet Have Been Waiting For

If you've been into the clinic before, you've probably noticed our Archies display by the front desk. We've stocked them for a good while now, and with Christmas right around the corner, it’s a good time to take a closer look.

Summer here means thongs and slides take over from every other shoe we own, whether it’s a quick run to the shops, a full day at the beach or a lap around the house. Most summer footwear is completely flat. Archies are designed to look like a regular, trendy thong, with a few extra features built in.

Features of Archies

  • Built-in arch support: a contoured footbed with up to 2.2cm of arch support, designed to support the natural shape of the foot

  • Cushioned, moulded foam: soft, lightweight and designed designed to mould to your foot over time

  • Secure straps: designed for a snugger fit than many standard thongs

  • Elevated heel: a raised heel design

Thongs or Slides? We Stock Both

Not a thong person? Archies also come in a slide style. The slide style has the same contoured footbed and cushioned foam, with an easy slip-on design that suits wearing around the house, after a workout or running errands.

Who They Might Suit

  • People who live in thongs or slides at home, at the beach or running errands

  • Anyone who spends a lot of the day on their feet and wants a more contoured option than a flat thong or slide

  • People who prefer to wear something on their feet at home rather than going barefoot

  • Anyone after comfortable footwear to slip on after exercise

The Perfect Christmas Gift

Archies suit anyone on your list, from the parent who’s always on their feet to the friend who lives in thongs all summer. Thongs are $40 and slides are $60, in a range of colours and sizes. We’re happy to help you find the right size and style when you pop in.
